Created by Jean Claude Ellena who is the master perfumer and in house nose for Hermes, this is a aromatic fragrance for men. It is a new type of cologne and quite daring, as the note of gentiane had never been used in fragrance previously. M. Ellena is known for his streamlined style, and uses only four notes, gentiane, incense, musk and Iris.
